Because that’s what this has always been about for me.

 

Long before the numbers started climbing—before the 500 million views, before the attention, before any of it—I was just trying to tell the truth the only way I knew how. Back in 2016, one of my first songs took on a life of its own in the first responder and military communities. That changed everything for me. It showed me that music isn’t just something you hear—it’s something you carry. Since then, I’ve had the honor of showing up for the people who carry the heaviest weight… first responders, military, families facing autism, dementia, cancer. That’s the kind of impact I care about.

 

Yeah, there have been some wild moments along the way. A blind reaction from Garth Brooks that helped launch my music across TikTok to hundreds of millions of views—and counting. A shot on American Idol back in Season 11 that reminded me just how far this road can go if you stay on it long enough.

 

And I’m grateful for every bit of that.

 

But if I’m being real with you—that’s not what keeps me here.

 

I’m here for the connection. The kind you can’t fake. The kind that happens when a song makes you feel seen, or understood, or just a little less alone. That’s the deal I’ve always wanted with the people who listen to my music: no walls, no pretending, no chasing something hollow.
